Direct logins to email accounts using a less-secure mode have been disabled by Google.

As a security measure, Google will no longer support the use of third-party apps and devices that rely solely on your username and password for access to your Google Account starting May 30, 2022.

You will need to follow these steps in order to continue using Gmail in strideERP:

1. Configure 2-factor authentication by following Google's guide Set Up 2-factor authentication
2. Click on Google Account > Security tab.

3. Then click on "App Passwords" to create a new password for strideERP Create App Specific Password

4. To replace the actual password in your Gmail account, copy the generated password

5. Then paste it in the "Password" field.
